Waarschuwing:

  • Inwendig gebruik van teunisbloemolie geeft nauwelijks neveneffecten.
  • Soms, voorbijgaand, milde diarree en darmgassen; zelden een allergische reactie.
  • Bij plaatselijk uitwendig gebruik kan ook wel een allergische reactie worden opgeroepen.
  • Zoals voor alle huidcrèmes geldt, is het raadzaam eerst op een klein plekje teunisbloemzalf uit te proberen alvorens grotere gedeelten van de huid in te smeren.
  • Epilepsiepatiënten die speciale medicijnen krijgen voorgeschreven, dienen hun behandelend arts te consulteren indien ze overwegen teunisbloemolie te gebruiken.
